Yes, that's right folks - its Bonza Bash time again!
While the economy might be in all kinds of strife at the moment, we refuse to let that get
us down. Kick back, relax and get away from it all for a night out on the town at
the Pacific Northwest's
5th Annual Black Tie Bonza Bash
March 28th 2009 @ The Seattle Aquarium
Once a year in the Aussie outback, there is thrown an enormous party. People bus/fly/chopper
in from all over the world dressed in formal wear to party under the stars until
dawn, and do it as only Aussies know how - in the most unlikely of places, and thousands
of miles from home. If you were one of the 800+ people who attended our last event
@ Seattle's EMP on 31st October 2008, you'll know the kind of event we're talking
about.
Well it's that time of year again - time to kick it up a notch and do what we do
best - put together the most amazing party in the Pacific Northwest ...
Come join hosts Dave McLauchlan and Brenton Webster as we celebrate our annual gala in style. Superb
aquatic style, actually.

We had such a great time last year at the Seattle Aquarium that
we've decided to return for this year's event. Only this time we're doing it bigger
and better :)
Not only will you experience quite possibly the most amazing party ever, but you'll also be helping raise money for charity.

As usual, we'll have some fantastic entertainment to help you dance the night away.
The Beatniks have been called “The Biggest Band In Town” by the
Seattle Times, and have played all over the world including Mexico, Whistler (BC),
Las Vegas, Hawaii, New York and much more. They were the winning band on VH-1’s
“Cover Wars”, and have drawn crowds of up to 35,000 people since they formed in
the early 1990’s. The Beatniks are truly an iconic Seattle band, and we're looking
forward to having them join us for the Bonza Bash!

The Beatniks
Together with DJ Rhythma DJ Rhythma , the Beatniks will have the
dance floor full all night with their party hits from the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. With
DJ Rhythma spinning all the latest music, you’re guaranteed a spectacular night
of musical entertainment!

So how do you celebrate a Bonza Bash? Like this:
- Bring yourselves and your friends -
we will be supplying the most unique venue in town, catered traditional Aussie hors
d'oeuvres, a phenomenal band, one of Seattle's most celebrated DJs and a couple
of BIG surprises along the way.
- Wear black tie. Really. If
you don't have a tuxedo/formal dress, at least wear a jacket (or ladies equivalent).
This is a chance to dress up, and we don't get many of those in Seattle. FYI, people
wearing jeans will be fed to the octopus. If you don't believe us, ask the folks who tried last year. Oh wait, you can't... :)
- RSVP early - the Bonza
Bash now has an invite list of thousands, and we expect this year's event to be
VERY popular.
- Tell your friends - your
friends are our friends. Feel free to add them to this invitation. Make sure they
know how to celebrate a Bonza Bash.
