PARTY FOR THE ANIMALS: BONZA BASH SUMMER 2009
Wine, Silent Auction, Dancing Benefit for The Seattle Humane Society August 22
Seattle—As if Seattle’s summer wasn’t hot enough, Bonza Bash Productions announces
its first sizzling summer event: Bonza Bash Summer 2009. The notable event will
infuse premium wineries with the classic Aussie flair of unique Bonza Bash style
and fun. The event, Saturday, August 22, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Seattle’s Fremont Studios,
will be a benefit for The Seattle Humane Society.
From 8 to 10:30 p.m. wine will be flowing from celebrated wineries including: Barrage
Cellars, Bookwalter Winery, Darby Winery, DiStefano Winery, Sparkman Cellars and
Aussie wines The Black Chook and Woop Woop. Guests will also be able to purchase
wine for their home cellars. Hors d’oeuvres will accompany the wine tasting and
a fully stocked bar will be available throughout the evening.
The upscale event turns into festive Bonza Bash fun at 11 p.m. with DJs Kippy, Victor
Menegaux and Speedy G enticing guests on the dance floor to old school and new school
beats. Guests will be able to partake in raffles and bid on silent auction items
including restaurant and spa gift certificates, winery packages, and tickets to
sporting events. Entertainment from massage therapists, cartoonists and face painters
will be offered throughout the night.
“We are thrilled to expand the Bonza Bash brand with our first summer event, answering
the requests of our guests for a premium wine experience combined with our upscale,
yet affordable parties,” said Brenton Webster, Bonza Bash Productions principal.
“And the partnership with The Seattle Humane Society is a perfect fit for us with
its deep roots in the community and a cause that will resonate with our guests.”
The Seattle Humane Society, dedicated to bringing pets and people together through
pet adoptions, advocacy, and services such as Pet Food Banks, was chosen as the
event nonprofit partner and will benefit from ticket sales, raffles, silent auctions
and donations. Past Bonza Bash events have raised $11K-$12K for the beneficiary.
The “Red, White and Bright” dress code encourages guests to dress in their best,
colorful summer cocktail attire (no jeans allowed, collared shirts required).
Bonza Bash Summer 2009 will be held from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Fremont Studios located
at 155 North 35th Street, Seattle. General admission tickets are $45; VIP $125.
All previous events have sold out so guests are encouraged to purchase tickets early.

when people travel from around the world for a non-profit benefit weekend of upscale
events constructed in Australia’s Outback. Bonza Bash events consistently benefit
nonprofit organizations with four events a year: Spring, Summer, Halloween and New
Year’s Eve.
